Work Experience 5N1356 - 'Live' Tutor-led Course

This is a standalone QQI Certified module, or part of the 5M2468 Business Administration or 5M1997 Office Administration Major Award.

Course Summary

This module will provide you  the opportunity to use and gain knowledge, skills and competencies to work in a suitable work placement under supervision. Work Experience is a planned experiential learning activity and is an integral part of an educational process. It involves learners preparing and planning for work, working under direction in a specific vocational area and reviewing and evaluating that work. The experience of work enables learners to develop work skills, evaluate employment opportunities and cope with changing work environments. This is not prescriptive but learning outcomes must be met.

This module is a mandatory module to gain the full QQI 5M2468 Business Administration Major Award.  Due to the pandemic, companies have had to close and being placed on Work Placement has ceased temporarily until we are all back again.  Instead, if you work in an office environment, or very recently, as a temporary measure, your work experience may be based on where you work with confirmation of same through a Supervisor References/Report.
